About our work
Our society was created to advocate for homeless animals and create social change. We fight against animal cruelty and neglect by:
- educating and raising awareness
- campaigning, lobbying and helping to develop legislation
- taking legal action against people who abuse or neglect animals
- rescuing animals and facilitating adoption.
How many animals are we talking about?
In our town, there are 16 thousands hungry and abused animals that roam streets in search of food and shelter, get hit by cars, endure horrible abuse or are killed by people for fun. Our town is no different from other places in Ukraine - this problem can be likened to a national crisis. Perhaps because the situation is so devastating, most people don't care or choose not to.
We could no longer tolerate indifference to the suffering of animals. Our goal is to pressure the local government to take responsibility for humane dog and cat population management and educate the residents about the high moral and economic price of their indifference.
To-date, our work against lawlessness, crime and immorality has yielded some key victories. But we are still facing unimaginable difficulties and problems to solve. You can help us by becoming aware, educating yourself and others, and supporting our cause. Вся деятельность нашего Общества направлена на защиту прав животных.
К великому сожалению в нашем государстве, пока ещё, мало обращают внимание на жестокость по отношению к тем, кто давно и по-праву занимает своё место на этой Земле. Но мы верим, что совместными усилиями всех неравнодушных людей, нам удасться побороть зло и насилие, равнодушие и безнаказанность.
Мы знаем, что такое отчаяние людей, столкнувшихся с бедой своих любимцев.
Мы знаем, что такое безысходность для животных бездомных.
И мы готовы защищать их право на жизнь.
